Heaven Hill Distillery has unveiled the 18th edition of its prestigious Parker’s Heritage Collection, a 14-year-old Kentucky straight malt whiskey that boasts a unique finishing touch—reconstructed heavy-toast Cognac barrels.

This special release is the result of a continued collaboration with master blender Alain Royer, marking their third joint effort for the Parker’s Heritage Collection. The whiskey, originally distilled in March 2009, was first aged in 128 malt whiskey barrels sourced from Rickhouses O and Q. After 14 years of maturation, the whiskey was re-barreled into 56 larger Cognac barrels, where it spent an additional four months soaking in the essence of heavy-toasted wood. The final product, made from a mashbill of 65% malted barley and 35% corn, is bottled at 107 proof and non-chill filtered to preserve the full spectrum of flavors.

Susan Wahl, Vice President of American Whiskey at Heaven Hill, emphasized the importance of pushing boundaries: “Our partnership with Alain Royer continues to inspire us as we explore new ways to innovate through barrel finishing. This release honors Parker’s legacy by embracing his adventurous spirit and commitment to creating something extraordinary. We’re also proud to continue supporting ALS research and patient care through this series.”

The Parker’s Heritage Collection is named after the legendary Parker Beam, Heaven Hill’s late master distiller, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2010. Since 2013, this series has raised over $1 million for ALS research and patient care, with Heaven Hill contributing a portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold. The 18th edition continues this tradition, furthering the mission of the Parker Beam Promise of Hope Fund.

This limited-edition release will be available both nationally and internationally at a suggested retail price of $169.99. As with previous editions, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the ALS Association in honor of Parker Beam’s enduring legacy.
