William Grant & Sons is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the partnership between Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One Team with two new limited-edition single malt whiskies. This release follows their initial collaboration, which saw the launch of a 65-year-old single malt earlier this year. The two new expressions, a 16-year-old and a travel retail exclusive 19-year-old, were revealed at The Monterey Car Week in California.
-
The new 16-year-old whisky was aged in a blend of American oak wine casks, new American barrels, and second-fill Bourbon casks. This unique aging process gives it notes of maple syrup, caramelised ginger, fresh fruit salad, and sweet cream.
-
According to Glenfiddich’s Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, the whisky embodies a blend of tradition and innovation, much like the partnership itself.
-
The Glenfiddich Aston Martin Formula One 16-year-old will be available globally starting in September 2025.
-
It is bottled at 43% ABV and has a suggested retail price of US$75.
This limited-edition bottling is seen as a symbol of the collaboration’s shared values of craftsmanship and performance.
